On July 26, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that starting July 30, vaccine will be administered to eligible individuals who completed registration and made a vaccination appointment on the COVID-19 vaccination registration and appointment reservation system in the fourth round of registration for vaccination. Starting 10am on July 27, people born before December 31, 1983 (inclusive), people whose appointments were cancelled due to the typhoon in Yilan County and Keelung City, and people who received a text message but haven't scheduled an appointment in the third round of inoculation, totaling about 1.44 million people, will receive a text message to remind them to make a vaccination appointment. This round of registration is scheduled to end at 12pm on July 29. The available brand of vaccine for vaccinations in this round of inoculation is the AstraZeneca vaccine. Vaccine will be administered to eligible recipients between July 30 and August 6.
