On April 7, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported that COVID-19 cases continued to rise in Mauritius over the recent two weeks. Considering that COVID-19 incidence rate in the country has significantly exceeded the limit of the standard for medium-risk countries/regions, the CECC will remove Mauritius from its list of medium-risk countries/regions, effective immediately. The latest list of the risk categories for countries/regions is as follows:
1. Low-risk countries/regions: New Zealand, Macao, Palau, Fiji, Brunei, Laos, Nauru, the Marshall Islands, Bhutan, Australia, Singapore, Vietnam.
2. Medium-risk countries/regions: Cambodia, Hong Kong.
