CECC confirms 102 more cases of Omicron subvariants, including 81 domestic cases and 21 imported cases


On November 21, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 102 new confirmed cases of Omicron subvariants. Of these new cases, 81 are domestic (80 cases of BA.5 and one case of BA.2) and the other 21 cases (10 cases of BA.5, nine cases of BA.2.75, one case of XBB, and one case of BQ.1) are imported. As of now, there have been a cumulative total of 10 imported cases of XBB, four imported cases of BF.7, seven imported cases of BQ.1, 1,236 imported cases of BA.5, 104 imported cases of BA.4, 77 imported cases of BA.2.75, and 1,028 imported cases of BA.2. Furthermore, there have been a cumulative total of one domestic case of XBB, one domestic case of BF.7, two domestic cases of BQ.1, 1,265 domestic cases of BA.5, five domestic cases of BA.4, 2,529 domestic cases of BA.2, and no domestic cases of BA.2.75.
