CECC confirms 69 more cases of Omicron subvariants, including 38 domestic cases and 31 imported cases


On February 20, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 69 new confirmed cases of Omicron subvariants. Of these new cases, 38 are domestic (25 cases of BA.2.75, 12 cases of BQ.1, and one case of BA.5,) and the other 31 cases (19 cases of BA.2.75, six cases of XBB, five cases of BA.5, one case of BF.7) are imported. As of now, for imported cases, there have been a cumulative total of 1,574 cases of BA.5, 1,035 cases of BA.2, 196 cases of BA.2.75, 159 cases of BF.7, 104 cases of BA.4, 56 cases of BQ.1, and 44 cases of XBB. Furthermore, for domestic cases, there have been a cumulative total of 1,629 cases of BA.5, 2,540 cases of BA.2, 165 cases of BA.2.75, 49 cases of BQ.1, 12 cases of BF.7, five cases of XBB, and five cases of BA.4.
