CECC confirms 264 more cases of Omicron subvariants, including 124 domestic cases and 143 imported cases


On October 11, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 267 new confirmed cases of Omicron subvariants. Of these new cases, 124 are domestic (111 cases of BA.5, one case of BA.4, and 12 cases of BA.2) and the other 143 cases (eight cases of BA.4, 109 cases of BA.5, 12 cases of BA.2.75, and 14 cases of BA.2) are imported. As of now, there have been a cumulative total of 1,111 imported cases of BA.5, 100 imported cases of BA.4, 44 imported cases of BA.2.75, and 1,020 cases of BA.2. Furthermore, there have been a cumulative total of 743 confirmed domestic cases of BA.5, five confirmed domestic cases of BA.4, 2,513 confirmed domestic cases of BA.2, and no confirmed domestic cases of BA.2.75.
