CECC confirms 121 more cases of Omicron subvariants, including 34 domestic cases and 87 imported cases


On August 15, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 121 new confirmed cases of Omicron subvariants; 34 of the cases are domestic and the other 87 cases are imported. As of now, there have been a cumulative total of 76 imported cases of BA.4, 547 imported cases of BA.5, and five imported cases of BA.2.75. Furthermore, there have been a cumulative total of 58 confirmed domestic cases of BA.5, one confirmed domestic case of BA.4, and no confirmed domestic cases of BA.2.75.
