On July 15, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 25,310 more COVID-19 cases, including 25,223 domestic cases and 87 imported cases. The CECC announced 14 deaths today.

Regarding the 25,223 new domestic cases, 11,416 are male and 13,786 are female, while the gender of the other 21 cases is under investigation. They range in age from under five to above 90 years. Of those domestic cases, 4,224 were reported in New Taipei City, 3,293 in Taichung City, 2,711 in Taoyuan City, 2,629 in Kaohsiung City, 2,535 in Taipei City, 1,842 in Tainan City, 1,305 in Changhua County, 861 in Pingtung County, 741 in Yunlin County, 692 in Miaoli County, 674 in Hsinchu County, 566 in Yilan County, 535 in Hsinchu City, 473 in Chiayi County, 435 in Nantou County, 409 in Hualien County, 351 in Keelung City, 327 in Taitung County, 266 in Chiayi City, 168 in Penghu County, 165 in Kinmen County, and 23 in Lienchiang County.

Regarding the 114 deaths from domestic cases announced today, they were 67 men and 47 women ranging in age from 40 to above 90 years. They were severe cases.

Regarding the 87 imported cases, they all arrived in Taiwan between July 10 and 14, 2022.

The CECC reported that a total of 14,144,486 cases related to COVID-19 have been reported in Taiwan among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 9,923,021. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 4,215,200 cases. Of the 4,215,200 confirmed cases, 16,144 are imported; 4,199,002 are domestic; 36 are naval crew members aboard the Panshi fast combat support ship; 3 are infections on an aircraft; 1 case has an unknown source of infection; 14 cases' sources of infection are being investigated. There have been a cumulative total of 8,031 COVID-19 deaths since 2020; of the 8,031 deaths, 8,016 are from domestic cases and the other 15 are from imported cases.
