COVID-19 Vaccination Reservation system to be open from March 23-25 for eligible individuals to schedule booster dose appointment; Reservation service on the system to be discontinued from April 1

On March 22, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that
COVID-19 Vaccination Reservation system ("the System") will be open from March 23 to 25 for individuals aged 18 or older who have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine for 12 weeks to schedule booster dose appointments. People who are eligible to get a booster dose but haven't received one are urged to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. Eligible people who have booked an appointment with a healthcare facility or local health center each local government designates to give booster shots are urged to get vaccinated as scheduled, and they do not need to book another appointment on the System.

Eligibility and schedules are listed below.

A. Vaccination: from March 28 to April 3, 2022.

B. Eligibility: individuals aged 18 or older (born on or before April 3, 2004) who received a second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine at least 12 weeks ago, before January 9, 2022, are eligible to get a booster shot.

C. Time slots for scheduling appointments:
a. Individuals aged 55 or older: from 10 a.m. on March 23 to 12 p.m. on March 25.
b. Individuals aged 38-54: from 12 p.m. on March 23 to 12 p.m. on March 25.
c. Individuals aged 18-37: from 2 p.m. on March 23 to 12 p.m. on March 25.

The CECC pointed out that as there are sufficient COVID-19 vaccine doses, the System will not be available starting April 1, from which reservation and inquiry services will no longer be provided on the platform. Members of the public are advised to preserve their appointment information and to arrive on time for their appointment.
