People in home isolation or quarantine urged to take at-home rapid tests and report back their test results on time during self-health management period

On March 7, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) pointed out that to facilitate tracking and management of persons at risk of infection, people undergoing isolation/quarantine should take at-home rapid tests and report their test results back via text message on time when practicing self-health management after the end of their isolation/quarantine period. Those who fail to report test results back will be subject to enhanced monitoring and heavy penalties. Any violation of related regulations can result in a fine of up to NT$ 300,000 according to Article 67 and Article 69 of the Communicable Disease Control Act.
