First batch of preventative monoclonal antibody therapy Evusheld purchased by CECC to be distributed to provide better protection for individuals with weak immune systems in Taiwan


On September 8, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported that, in order to provide better protection for individuals with weak immune systems who are at high risk of severe illness and death after infection, the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control purchased 10,000 doses of Evusheld, a preventative monoclonal antibody therapy, recently. The first batch of Evusheld, containing 1,728 doses, arrived in Taiwan on the evening of September 6 and will be distributed today.
