Cumulative total of 376 COVID-19 cases confirmed in Taiwan; 61 patients released from isolation


On April 7, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported that 1,835 additional cases related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were reported on April 6. As of writing, a cumulative total of 39,011 cases have been reported among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 34,022. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 376 cases (Cases #374-376 confirmed today). Of 376 confirmed cases in Taiwan, 324 are imported and 52 are indigenous. Of the confirmed cases, there have been 5 deaths, and 61 patients have been released from isolation while the remainder remains hospitalized in isolation.
