CECC reports no new confirmed cases; 332 patients released from isolation


The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that no additional cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were confirmed in Taiwan on May 3. The CECC reported that 381 additional cases related to COVID-19 were reported on May 2. As of writing, a cumulative total of 64,094 cases have been reported among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 62,780. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 432 cases. Of 432 confirmed cases in Taiwan, 346 are imported and 55 are indigenous while 31 are navy members aboard the Panshi fast combat support ship. Of the confirmed cases, there have been 6 deaths, and 332 patients have been released from isolation, with the remainder remaining hospitalized in isolation.
