CECC to distribute 525,700 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine on August 4 to local governments for vaccination of people registering on vaccination appointment system, teachers in junior and senior high schools, and personnel engaged in after-school education sector


On August 3, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) pointed out that it had distributed a batch of 243,100 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to local governments and that it would distribute another batch of 525,700 doses on August 4, totaling 768,800 vaccine doses, to meet the number of vaccine doses needed by local governments for vaccination appointments scheduled between July 30 and August 6. The vaccine doses will be offered to people registering their intention to be vaccinated on the vaccination appointment system, teachers in junior and senior high schools, personnel engaged in the after-school education sector, and people who have received their first dose and are on the 10th-week mark (regardless of age).
