On July 14, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 27,684 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Of the 27,684 new cases, 27,597 are domestic and 87 are imported. The CECC announced 89 deaths today.

Regarding the 27,597 new domestic cases, 12,799 are male and 14,778 are female, while the gender of the other 20 cases is under investigation. They range in age from under five to above 90 years. Of those domestic cases, 4,718 were reported in New Taipei City, 3,639 in Taichung City, 2,943 in Kaohsiung City, 2,813 in Taoyuan City, 2,664 in Taipei City, 2,051 in Tainan City, 1,410 in Changhua County, 933 in Pingtung County, 2805 in Hsinchu County, 729 in Yunlin County, 665 in Miaoli County, 650 in Yilan County, 615 in Hsinchu City, 552 in Chiayi County, 504 in Nantou County, 456 in Keelung City, 441 in Hualien County, 347 in Taitung County, 321 in Chiayi City, 170 in Kinmen County, 149 in Penghu County, and 22 in Lienchiang County.

Regarding the 89 deaths from domestic cases announced today, they were 48 men and 41 women ranging in age from 40 to above 90 years. They were severe cases.

Regarding the 87 imported cases, they all arrived in Taiwan between July 12 and 13, 2022.

The CECC reported that a total of 14,100,152 cases related to COVID-19 have been reported in Taiwan among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 9,905,869. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 4,189,929 cases. Of the 4,189,929 confirmed cases, 16,058 are imported; 4,173,817 are domestic; 36 are naval crew members aboard the Panshi fast combat support ship; 3 are infections on an aircraft; 1 case has an unknown source of infection; 14 cases' sources of infection are being investigated. There have been a cumulative total of 7,917 COVID-19 deaths since 2020; of the 7,917 deaths, 7,902 are from domestic cases and the other 15 are from imported cases.
