On December 6, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced ten new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. The CECC announced no deaths today.

Regarding the ten new imported cases, they are six men and four women, aged between 10 to 69 years old. They arrived in Taiwan from Thailand, the Netherlands, Indonesia (three cases), Vietnam (two cases), Cambodia (two cases), and Nicaragua. They arrived between October 29 and December 3.

The CECC reported that a total of 4,546,922 cases related to COVID-19 have been reported in Taiwan among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 4,528,043. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 16,662 cases. Of the 16,662 confirmed cases, 2,018 are imported; 14,590 are domestic; 36 are naval crew members aboard the Panshi fast combat support ship; 3 are infections on an aircraft; 1 case has unknown sources of infection; 14 cases' sources of infection are being investigated, and a cumulative total of 111 cases have been removed from the list of confirmed cases. There have been a cumulative total of 848 COVID-19 deaths since 2020; of the 848 deaths, 836 are from domestic cases and the other 12 are from imported cases.
