Individuals aged 18 or older who have received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine for 12 weeks can schedule their booster dose appointment on COVID-19 Vaccination Registration and Reservation system in 21st round starting Jan.26


On January 25, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that the COVID-19 vaccination registration and appointment reservation system ("the System") will be open for scheduling booster dose appointments in the 21st round starting January 26 in order to provide multiple options for the public to schedule an appointment and thus, allow the public to gain protection more quickly. In the 21st round, booster shots will be offered to individuals aged 18 or older who have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine for 12 weeks. Eligible people who have booked an appointment with a healthcare facility or local health center each local government designates to give booster shots are urged to get vaccinated as scheduled, and they do not need to book another appointment on the System.

Eligibility and schedules are listed below.
A. Vaccination: from February 7 to 13.

B. Eligibility: individuals aged 18 or older (born on or before February 13, 2004) who received a second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine at least 12 weeks ago, before November 21, 2021, are eligible to get a booster dose.

C. Time slots for scheduling appointments:
a. Individuals aged 65 or older: from 10 a.m. on January 26 to 4 p.m. on January 27.
b. Individuals aged 50-64: from 12 p.m. on January 26 to 4 p.m. on January 27.
c. Individuals aged 18-49: from 2 p.m. on January 26 to 4 p.m. on January 27.
