On March 26, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 103 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. Of the 103 new cases, 21 are domestic and 82 are imported (35 of them tested positive after landing). The CECC announced no deaths today.

Regarding the new domestic cases, they are 13 men and eight women ranging in age from 10 to 79 years.

Regarding the 82 new imported cases, they are 48 men and 34 women ranging in age from under five to 89 years. Of the cases, 10 arrived from Vietnam, six from Indonesia, five each from the Philippines and Malaysia, three each from Italy, the UK, and Thailand, two each from Korea, Australia, France, Sweden, and the US, and one each from Germany, Spain, Kyrgyzstan, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Japan, and the UAE; the areas the remaining 30 cases arrived from are being investigated. They all arrived between January 25 and March 25, 2022.

The CECC reported that a total of 6,862,770 cases related to COVID-19 have been reported in Taiwan among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 6,839,724. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 22,566 cases. Of the 22,566 confirmed cases, 6,941 are imported; 15,571 are domestic; 36 are naval crew members aboard the Panshi fast combat support ship; 3 are infections on an aircraft; 1 case has an unknown source of infection; 14 cases' sources of infection are being investigated, and a cumulative total of 135 cases have been removed as confirmed cases. There have been a cumulative total of 853 COVID-19 deaths since 2020; of the 853 deaths, 839 are from domestic cases and the other 14 are from imported cases.
