People aged 18 and older who have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine urged to get their second shot within recommended interval


On November 17, the Central Epidemic Command Center pointed out that to increase the second-dose coverage in Taiwan, the recommended interval for COVID-19 vaccines has been updated as follows:
1. The AstraZeneca vaccine: people aged 18 and older are eligible, and the interval between two doses should be at least eight weeks.
2. The Moderna vaccine: people aged 18 and older are eligible, and the interval between two doses should be at least four weeks.
3. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine: people aged 18 and older are eligible, and the interval between two doses should be at least four weeks.
