Cumulative total of 363 COVID-19 cases confirmed in Taiwan; 54 patients released from isolation

On April 5, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported that 868 additional cases related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were reported on April 4. As of writing, a cumulative total of 36,304 cases have been reported among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 32,278. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 363 cases (Cases #356-363 confirmed today). Of 363 confirmed cases in Taiwan, 312 are imported and 51 are indigenous. Of the confirmed cases, there have been 5 deaths, and 54 patients have been released from isolation while the remainder remains hospitalized in isolation.
