CECC confirms 105 more cases of Omicron subvariants, including 42 domestic cases and 63 imported cases


On January 3, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 105 new confirmed cases of Omicron subvariants. Of these new cases, 42 are domestic (26 cases of BA.5, eight cases of BA.2.75, six cases of BQ.1, and two cases of BF.7) and the other 63 cases (37 cases of BA.5, nine cases of BA.2.75, two cases of BQ.1, two cases of XBB, 12 cases of BF.7, and one case of BA.2) are imported. As of now, there have been a cumulative total of 27 imported cases of XBB, 22 imported cases of BF.7, 31 imported cases of BQ.1, 1,325 imported cases of BA.5, 104 imported cases of BA.4, 125 imported cases of BA.2.75, and 1,030 imported cases of BA.2. Furthermore, there have been a cumulative total of three domestic cases of XBB, five domestic cases of BF.7, 14 domestic cases of BQ.1, 1,527 domestic cases of BA.5, five domestic cases of BA.4, 23 domestic cases of BA.2.75, and 2,534 domestic cases of BA.2.
