COVID-19 government-funded vaccination appointment reservation system opens for registration of willingness to get vaccinated and opens to people who wish to get their second dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine; public urged to register online as soon as possible

On July 28, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) pointed out that the COVID-19 vaccination registration and appointment reservation system was opened to members of the public aged 18 and older at 14:00 on July 27. The CECC also pointed out that in this round of registration, the Medigen COVID-19 vaccine was included as a vaccine choice on the system yesterday, and the system is now open to people who received their first shot of the Moderna vaccine and wish to get their second shot. Individuals in the top three priority groups and pregnant women are considered to be eligible to receive their second dose of the Moderna vaccine 28 days after their first shot, and other individuals are considered eligible to receive a second dose at an interval of 10 to 12 weeks between their two doses. The CECC further pointed out that mixing vaccines is not available at present; for people who received their first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine and for whom 10-12 weeks have passed since their first shot, they can register their willingness to get their second shot on the platform.
