COVID-19 vaccine available to members of armed forces and people aged 65 and above to build herd immunity starting May 10


On May 6, the Central Epidemic Command Center announced that that beginning May 10, the government-funded COVID-19 vaccine would be available to individuals in the seventh priority group, i.e., members of the armed forces and civilian personnel in military agencies and national security units, and individuals in the eighth priority groups, i.e., people aged 65 and above.

Individuals eligible for the vaccine at this stage can schedule a vaccination online or via phone at a healthcare facility designated for COVID-19 vaccination or eligible individuals can visit a designated healthcare facility, present their National Health Insurance Card and other necessary identity documents, and get the vaccine after the doctor's assessment.
