From June 27 to July 31, CECC to expand government-funded regular rapid testing measures in community care institutions

On June 24, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that, effective from June 27 to July 31, community-based care institutions will be required to implement government-funded regular rapid testing. Under this rapid testing scheme, care recipients will be required to undergo two rapid tests every week (people aged 2-18 will undergo a test each week, while testing is not required for children under 2 years of age). Furthermore, staff at such institutions will be required to take at least one rapid test each week, while those who have recovered from the disease will be exempted from testing within three months.
