On April 22, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) pointed out that Taiwan had signed a contract with Pfizer to procure 700,000 courses of the oral drug Paxlovid earlier this year, and more than 180,000 courses have arrived in Taiwan recently; deliveries of this procurement of Paxlovid are expected to be completed in the second quarter.
