CECC confirms 154 more cases of Omicron subvariants, including 104 domestic cases and 50 imported cases


On October 24, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 154 new confirmed cases of Omicron subvariants. Of these new cases, 104 are domestic (96 cases of BA.5 and eight cases of BA.2) and the other 50 cases (three cases of BQ.1/BQ.1.1, 35 cases of BA.5, seven cases of BA.2.75, four cases of BA.2, and one case of BA.4) are imported. As of now, there have been a cumulative total of 1,186 imported cases of BA.5, four imported cases of BF.7, five imported cases of BQ.1/BQ.1.1, 104 imported cases of BA.4, 57 cases of BA.2.75, one case of XBB, and 1,027 cases of BA.2. Furthermore, there have been a cumulative total of 879 domestic cases of BA.5, five domestic cases of BA.4, 2,522 domestic cases of BA.2, and no domestic cases of BA.2.75, BF.7, BQ.1.1/BQ.1.1, or XBB.
