Abstract:

Dengue fever is the most important vector borne communicable disease. Outbreaks of different scales occurred every year in the past decade. Although most patients recovered gradually, some progressed to Dengue hemorrhagic fever or death. This article described the four fatal cases in Taiwan in2011, and made some recommendations on how to prevent the avoidable deaths.
