A well epidemic prevention system should have a robust and stable surveillance mechanism for infectious diseases, and surveillance, statistics and analysis is the basic fundamental tools for public health policy-making and implementation, so as to grasp the status and trends of epidemics. In view of this, Taiwan CDC publishes the previous year’s surveillance report of communicable diseases annually. This annual report of 2010 records all statistics of epidemiological situations on notifiable diseases and operating results of Taiwan’s surveillance systems that is expected to promote public knowledge and understanding of communicable disease surveillance and control, and to retain the annual records of epidemic history.Download:
