People in home quarantine or isolation should take taxi and ambulance to seek medical care if they develop symptoms to ensure public health and safety

The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reiterates that those under home quarantine and home isolation should contact the local health authority, which would arrange for a designated taxi or an ambulance to pick them up, or call the toll-free Communicable Disease Reporting and Consultation Hotline, 1922, if they need to seek medical attention. The CECC reminds those in home quarantine and isolation that they must not go to and from hospitals and clinics by themselves without the local health authority’s instructions when seeking medical attention.
