Cumulative total of 382 COVID-19 cases confirmed in Taiwan; 91 patients released from isolation


On April 10, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported one new death from coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), bringing the death toll to six in Taiwan. The CECC also reported that 1,580 additional cases related to COVID-19 were reported on April 9. As of writing, a cumulative total of 43,886 cases have been reported among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 38,780. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 382 cases (Cases #381 and #382 confirmed today). Of 382 confirmed cases in Taiwan, 328 are imported and 54 are indigenous. Of the confirmed cases, there have been 6 deaths, and 91 patients have been released from isolation while the remainder remains hospitalized in isolation.
