Starting July 16, vaccine to be administered to eligible recipients who scheduled appointments on COVID-19 government-funded vaccination appointment reservation system in second round of registration; Third round of registration for vaccination appointments to be extended to 12pm on July 19

On July 15, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that starting July 16, vaccine will be administered to eligible individuals who completed registration and made a vaccination appointment on the COVID-19 vaccination registration and appointment reservation system in the second round of registration for vaccination. Those eligible individuals shall bring their National Health Insurance (NHI) Card to get vaccinated; those who made an appointment to receive their second dose should arrive at the scheduled vaccination site on time for their appointment and present their NHI Card and COVID-19 Vaccination Record before being vaccinated.

The CECC pointed out that the number of people registering their willingness to be vaccinated in the third round of registration was originally scheduled to be counted at 5pm on July 15, and the third round of registration will now be extended until 12pm on July 19 with the number of people registering in this round being counted when the registration closes. Starting July 20, people eligible for making a vaccination appointment will begin to receive a text message informing them to schedule an appointment. The available brand of vaccine for vaccinations in this round of registration is the AstraZeneca vaccine.
