Third round of registration for vaccination appointments on COVID-19 government-funded vaccination appointment reservation system ends today; starting 10am on July 20, vaccine to be offered to eligible individuals who scheduled appointments


On July 19, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that the third round of registration for vaccination appointments on the COVID-19 vaccination registration and appointment reservation system ended today at 12pm and that about 8.87 million people had registered on the system, among whom about 4.95 million people had expressed their willingness to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine. Starting 10am on July 20, the system will send text messages to individuals in the sixth, eighth, ninth and tenth priority groups, and people born before December 31, 1973 (inclusive), approximately 1.7 million people in total. The deadline for making an appointment is scheduled to be at 12pm on July 22. The available brand of vaccine for vaccinations in this round of registration is the AstraZeneca vaccine. Vaccine will be administered to eligible individuals between July 23 and July 29. Based on the future vaccine supply, text messages will be sent to eligible recipients every Tuesday to remind them to make a vaccination appointment.
