On July 19, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that starting July 25, 2022, the entry restrictions for foreign nationals will be loosened; foreign nationals may apply for a special entry permit visa to visit Taiwan for the following purposes: volunteering, religious proselytization, studying religious doctrines, internships, international exchanges, and working holidays (youth exchanges).
