On November 30, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) reported that COVID-19 continued to spread in Indonesia. To ensure epidemic prevention efforts in Taiwan and to reduce imported infections through Indonesian migrant workers, the CECC announced its decision to temporarily suspend acceptance of the entry of migrant workers coming to Taiwan for work from six more Indonesian employment agencies, effective immediately. Those six employment agencies are PT. ARNI FAMILY, PT. BRATA KARYA INDONESIA, PT. CITRA PUTRA INDARAB, PT. DEWI PENGAYOM BANGSA, PT. MULIA LAKSANA SEJAHTERA, and PT. PELITA KARYA JUHARI. Currently, the acceptance of entry applications from 14 Indonesian employment agencies has been temporarily suspended. Moreover, entry of migrant workers from the 14 employment agencies, whether they have obtained a visa or not, is temporarily suspended starting from November 30.
