In response to family cluster involving pilot of Taiwanese airline, CECC launches epidemiological investigation and response measures; tightened quarantine measures for flight crews after their return take effect from September 3, 2021


On September 3, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) explained that as an airline pilot was found to have COVID-19 through regular health monitoring, strengthened quarantine measures for flight crews after their return to Taiwan will take effect starting September 3, 2021, earlier than the original effective date of September 15.
