On November 21, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced nine new confirmed imported cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. The CECC announced no deaths today.

Regarding the nine new imported cases, they are four men and five women, aged between under 10 to 69 years old. They arrived in Taiwan from Denmark, Indonesia, the US (two cases), Kenya, Singapore (two cases), Cambodia, and Saint Christopher and Nevis. They arrived between October 29 and November 19.

The CECC reported that a total of 4,310,870 cases related to COVID-19 have been reported in Taiwan among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 4,292,189. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 16,529 cases. Of the 16,529 confirmed cases, 1,885 are imported; 14,590 are domestic; 36 are naval crew members aboard the Panshi fast combat support ship; 3 are infections on an aircraft; 1 case has unknown sources of infection; 14 cases' sources of infection are being investigated, and a cumulative total of 111 cases have been removed from the list of confirmed cases. There have been a cumulative total of 848 COVID-19 deaths since 2020; of the 848 deaths, 836 are from domestic cases and the other 12 are from imported cases.
