4 naval personnel aboard the Panshi ship test positive and will be tested tomorrow

On the evening of May 3, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that the isolation period for 713 naval personnel of the Dunmu fleet ended this morning. The CECC reported that after the naval personnel were tested before being released from isolation, 4 navy members aboard the Panshi fast combat support ship tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The four new confirmed cases didn’t have any symptoms when being tested. The remaining naval personnel aboard the other two vessels tested negative and will be released from isolation at 5:30 am on May 4. The remaining naval personnel are required to conduct self-health management after returning home. All 345 naval personnel aboard the Panshi ship will be tested again on the morning of May 4 (24 hours after the previous testing).
