64,000 doses of AZ vaccine provided by Japan to arrive in Taiwan on afternoon of September 7

On September 7, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that a fourth batch of 64,000 doses of the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine will arrive at Taoyuan International Airport this afternoon. This batch of doses will be shipped to designated cold storage and logistics centers for the subsequent testing and lot release procedures after customs clearance. The vaccine doses will be distributed and offered to Taiwan citizens and Japanese nationals in Taiwan according to the CECC's plans.

The CECC expresses its sincere gratitude again to the government and people of Japan for providing the batch of COVID-19 vaccine doses to Taiwan.
