On October 30, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced seven new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Taiwan. All those cases are imported. The CECC announced no deaths today.

Regarding the seven new imported cases, they are three men and four women, aged between 10 to 39 years old. They arrived in Taiwan from Malaysia, Indonesia (two cases), Vietnam, Spain, the US, and the UK. They arrived between September 3 and October 28.

The CECC reported that a total of 3,953,747 cases related to COVID-19 have been reported in Taiwan among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 3,935,604. Of these reported cases, infection with COVID-19 was laboratory-confirmed in 16,406 cases. Of the 16,406 confirmed cases, 1,763 are imported; 14,589 are domestic; 36 are naval crew members aboard the Panshi fast combat support ship; 3 are infections on an aircraft; 1 case has unknown sources of infection; 14 cases' sources of infection are being investigated, and a cumulative total of 110 cases have been removed from the list of confirmed cases. There have been a cumulative total of 847 COVID-19 deaths since 2020; of the 847 deaths, 835 are from domestic cases and the other 12 are from imported cases.
