On March 15, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that the COVID-19 Vaccination Reservation system ("the System") continues to remain open from 10 a.m. every Wednesday to 12 p.m. every Friday for the public to schedule booster dose appointments which will take place in the next week (from Monday to Sunday). This can provide multiple options for the public to schedule an appointment and thus, to gain protection more quickly. In the 27th round, appointments can be made from March 16 to 18, and booster shots will be given to individuals aged 18 or older who have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine for 12 weeks. People who are eligible to get a booster dose but haven't received one are urged to schedule an appointment as soon as possible.
Eligible people who have booked an appointment with a healthcare facility or local health center each local government designates to give booster shots are urged to get vaccinated as scheduled, and they do not need to book another appointment on the System.
