On July 6, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that a ninth batch of the Moderna vaccine containing 450,000 doses purchased by the CECC this year arrived at Taoyuan International Airport this morning. After customs clearance, the batch of vaccine doses will be shipped to designated cold storage and logistics centers for the subsequent testing and lot release procedures which are expected to be completed on July 20. These doses will then be given to children 6 months to five years old as their primary vaccination course.
