Third round of registration for vaccination appointments on COVID-19 government-funded vaccination appointment reservation system starts today for people aged 18 or older to register their willingness to be vaccinated

On July 13, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that the third round of registration for vaccination appointments on the COVID-19 vaccination registration and appointment reservation system (https://1922.gov.tw/) started today for people aged 18 or older to register their willingness to be vaccinated. Details about registration for vaccination appointments are listed below.
1. People aged 18 or older can begin registering their willingness to be vaccinated from July 13 to 17:00 on July 15, and the number of people registering for vaccination appointments in the third round of registration will be calculated at 17:00 on July 15.
2. Text messages will be sent to eligible individuals between July 16 and July 18 to notify them to book vaccination appointments. Only those who receive text messages can make an appointment. The available brand of vaccine for vaccinations in this round of registration is the AstraZeneca vaccine.
3. To help people who have difficulty using the COVID-19 vaccination registration and appointment reservation system to register their willingness to get vaccinated, local governments are asked to set up a service hotline or designate staff in order to provide assistance to such people.

The CECC further pointed out that the second round of registration ended at 17:00 on July 12. The system will send text messages to eligible individuals starting the morning of July 13, notifying them to make vaccination appointments. Vaccine will be administered to eligible individuals between July 16 and July 22.
