On January 23, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced 116 new confirmed cases of Omicron subvariants. Of these new cases, 22 are domestic (12 cases of BA.5, seven cases of BA.2.75, and three cases of BQ.1) and the other 94 cases (47 cases of BA.5, 10 cases of BA.2.75, four cases of BQ.1, and 32 cases of BF.7) are imported. As of now, for imported cases, there have been a cumulative total of 1,505 cases of BA.5, 1,032 cases of BA.2, 154 cases of BA.2.75, 123 cases of BF.7, 104 cases of BA.4, 47 cases of BQ.1, and 32 cases of XBB. Furthermore, for domestic cases, there have been a cumulative total of 1,596 cases of BA.5, 2,538 cases of BA.2, 71 cases of BA.2.75, 22 cases of BQ.1, 12 cases of BF.7, five cases of XBB, and five cases of BA.4.
