Taiwan V-Watch Registration System used frequently by vaccine recipients; vaccinated people urged to report health status on time on V-Watch System

On April 21, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that it had set up the Taiwan V-Watch System (hereinafter "V-Watch System") on the Line chatbot Disease Control Butler on March 22, allowing vaccinated people to regularly report their health status after they receive vaccination. The CECC urges vaccinated people to report their health status on time.

Details about the interval of collection of health status data on the V-Watch system are listed below.
A. Vaccinated individuals shall report their health status once every day within 7 days after receiving one vaccine dose, reporting 7 times in total.
B. From week 2 to week 6 following vaccination with one dose, vaccinated individuals shall report their health status once every week, reporting 5 times in total.
C. Vaccinated individuals shall report their health status once six months after full vaccination; once 12 months after full vaccination; and once 18 months following full vaccination, reporting 3 times in total.

Furthermore, if vaccinated individuals experience severe physical discomfort or require medical care, they will receive not only push notifications on Line that remind them to seek immediate medical attention but also care services provided by the epidemic care and support center of the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the local Department of Health.
