Child-sized masks are available for ordering from August 24-26 through eMask System or at convenience stores; CECC assures parents they all will obtain their children’s mask quota

On August 24, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that masks for children aged 2 to 4 years and three-dimensional child-sized masks for children from 4 to 8 years old are available for ordering online through the eMask System or through registration with a NHI card on kiosks at convenience stores. Parents who wish to buy those child-sized masks can collect their orders at the designated location after they follow the abovementioned procedure to place orders. The CECC stated that all parents would be able to obtain the biweekly quota of child-sized masks. Furthermore, child-sized masks for children aged 6 to 12 years are also available at NHI-contracted pharmacies and local public health centers.

Parents can place an order to buy child-sized masks during Period 15 of online pre-ordering under the name-based system from August 24 to August 26. The quota for every child is 10 masks every 14 days. Parents wishing to purchase masks for their children are encouraged to pre-order masks by following the procedure during the preordering period. They will be able to pick up their masks at their designated locations from August 31 to September 13 after making the payment.
