On February 23, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that from March 6 to April 30 this year, it will promote the "2023 National COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign" with its main theme being " Vaccine Plus One. Easing Restriction Safely ". CECC called out to individuals who "have not received any dose", "have not completed the primary series doses" and "are age 6 and up and have not received Moderna BA.4/5 vaccine since January 1 this year" to join to this campaign.
CECC points out that for an individual who has ever been confirmed to have COVID-19, doses must be given at least 3 months (84 days) after the confirmed date; if an individual has received at least 2 doses, the following vaccination must be given at least 3 months (84 days) after the previous dose.
Individuals who have received the Moderna BA.4/5 vaccine since January 1 this year are not eligible for this campaign.
