On July 7, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that the second batch of the AstraZeneca vaccine containing 626,000 doses is scheduled to arrive at Taoyuan International Airport at 15:40 today.

This batch of vaccine doses is part of an order Taiwan placed with AstraZeneca. The vaccine doses will be offered to individuals to be vaccinated under the national COVID-19 vaccination program after completion of the subsequent testing and lot release procedures.
