On May 7, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that an eighth batch of the Moderna vaccine, containing 1.2533 million doses, purchased by the CECC this year will arrive at Taoyuan International Airport this afternoon. This shipment of vaccine doses will be offered to individuals to be vaccinated under the national COVID-19 vaccination program after completion of the subsequent testing and lot release procedures.
