On December 27, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that Taiwan's digital COVID-19 certificate will become available for download starting 8 a.m. on December 28 in order to expedite Taiwan citizens' entry into EU member states.

The digital certificate will be available for download to people getting vaccinated in Taiwan or taking PCR tests. At the initial stage of availability, the certificate will be available to those with a valid passport and can be applied online via computer or cell phone at https://dvc.mohw.gov.tw (open at 8 a.m. on December 28), or the link to the application page can be accessed from the official website of the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
