On May 25, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that after assessing the need for testing in outlying islands, it has granted Kinmen, Penghu and Lienchiang counties permission to conditionally provide voluntary screening services. The three county governments may provide voluntary screening services if the criteria for screening are met and related hospital referral protocols are in place.
