On October 6, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) pointed out that registration of willingness to be vaccinated on the COVID-19 Vaccination Registration and Reservation system (https://1922.gov.tw/) ended at 12 p.m. today for counting of registrants and that online appointment booking for the second dose of the AstraZeneca (AZ) or the first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech (BNT) vaccine will be open in the 11th round and will begin separately. Details are listed below.

A. Time slots for scheduling an appointment (a reminder will be sent via text message one day prior to the start date of a time slot; BNT: starting 2 p.m. on October 10, AZ: starting 2 p.m. on October 11):
1. The first dose of the BNT vaccine: from 10 a.m. on October 11 to 12 p.m. on October 13.
2. The second dose of the AZ vaccine: from 10 a.m. on October 12 to 12 p.m. on October 13.

B. Vaccination: from October 15 to October 21.

C. Eligibility (those who registered their willingness before 12 p.m. on October 6):
1. Individuals aged 18-55 (born between January 1, 1966 and October 15, 2003, inclusive) who received their first dose of the AZ vaccine before July 22 (inclusive) are eligible to make an appointment to get their second dose of the AZ vaccine.
2. Individuals aged 56 and older (born on December 31, 1965, or earlier) who received their first dose of the AZ vaccine before July 30 (inclusive) are eligible to make an appointment to get their second dose of the AZ vaccine.
3. The following individuals who registered for a BNT shot before October 6 are eligible to make an appointment to get their first dose:
(1) People aged 47 and older (born on December 31, 1974, or earlier);
(2) Individuals aged 12-22 (born between January 1, 1999 and October 15, 2009, inclusive);
(3) People aged 18 and older in the ninth priority group (born on December 31, 2003, or earlier).
